A man shot two of his former colleagues dead at an auto shop and then stepped outside and killed himself.
The man, who has not been named yet, entered Bemer Plus, in Houston, Texas, at around 4pm yesterday.
Executive Assistant Police Chief Troy Finner confirmed officers received a call minutes later about ‘a shooting in progress’.
‘It’s very, very sad this time of year and any part of the year that we lose three citizens,’ he said outside the scene of the crime.
‘I just ask our great citizens of this city to pray for each victim here and their families.’
Several people were in the auto shop when the man entered and started shooting, including customers and other employees.
The victims have not been named and police are still investigating to determine the motive behind the killings.
The southwest Houston shop specializes in used BMW sales and repairs.
